The Adjustable Angle Connector is one of the most versatile structural pipe fittings in the Maker Pipe building system. You can choose from two available sizes that are designed to natively fit either 3/4" or 1" EMT Conduit respectively. EMT Conduit is readily available at your local hardware store. The 1/2" connector variant includes the needed adapter shims for building with 1/2" EMT Conduit.The Adjustable Angle Connector gives you the ability to achieve any angle up to 90 degrees in either direction. Use the provided hardware to secure two pipes at a desired angle or partially tighten the top bolt and nut to create a hinge.

Description

The Adjustable Angle Connector consists of four pieces. The two long pieces secure a terminating pipe and create the end clamp. The two smaller pieces have interlocking puzzle pieces that secure a through pipe and create the puzzle piece clamp. You can buy all four pieces together or buy the bottom/top half separately if you need one and not the other.

Great customer service, well-made product - doesn't work for every application

I wanted to use the adjustable angle connector with the quick clamp as a 90 degree part of a DIY Lagun table in my tiny house, so that I could fold the table down against the wall as well as being able to swivel it on a pipe in tube mount. The connector really took some finagling to get onto the 1" tube - I got excellent advice on that from Dave (thanks again Dave!) but the quick release clamp would not tighten down against the raised ridges on that connector. Using the regular bolt by itself is not supportive enough for a table at that angle, so I have had to return the lot and go back to my cast iron threaded parts (which cannot fold). One other note that would have made my life much easier too: 1" EMT parts are very hard to find in most stores. The standard appears to be 1/2" or 3/4" and knowing that would have saved me hours of searching.
